How much do my stats increase by when I select it?

  • Your stats vary by what race you are. Certain races are dominant in Strength, whereas others may excel in Intelligence. To see what they increase by for each level, click here.
  • When you see "Please select a stat to raise" it means that you have gained enough experience to gain a level. The stat you select will raise by 50 in addition to what it would normally raise by.
  • If you select "ALL", it will multiply the normal raise by 2.

How do I allocate stats?

  • It is really all a matter of preference. It is not good to heavilly base your stats in one area, as it will leave you vulnerable in some other way. However, with that said, if you are a caster, leveling Dexterity would be useless; if you are a fighter, leveling Wisdom is useless. Most players who are fighters look for a Dexterity-to-Strength ratio between 2-3 Dexterity to 1 Strength. Most players who are casters look for a Wisdom-to-Intelligence ratio between 2-3 Wisdom to 1 Intelligence. For more information on what each specific stat does, view Starting the Game: I. What's the chance that I will get a drop?

  •
(You find a Shadow Item!) < ( You mined a gem! [Need a clan and a mine]) < ( You found some gold!) < (+ or - Alignment) < (You find a gem!) < (Mastery Increase)

  • Every weapon, spell, armour, and shield class can hold at least one gem. Item class 15 and above for each type can hold two gems. Shadow Items can hold two gems regardless of class.
  • You can enchant a gem at any Magic Shop square in a zone. You would select the item to enchant on the left-hand side of the main screen, and you would select the first gem to put in on the right-hand side. If the item can hold a second, and you want to enchant a second, select the item[grade] in the left, and the gem on the right.
  • Enchanting an item is free of charge.

  • If it is an item[grade][grade], the right-most gem would get disenchanted first.
  • There is a chance that you would lose the item and/or gems. It is roughly 30% that you would lose the gem but keep the item, and 30% that you would lose the item but keep the gem.

Bounty Questions

More information on bounties can be found here.

Where are the bounty boards?

  • The two bounty boards are found at 19,21 Wilderness (Constable), and at 21,21 Wilderness (Bounty Hunter).

I have a wanted level. What does that mean?

  • Each time you PK someone, you gain a wanted level.
  • If you cash in a bounty on one board, you gain a wanted level on the other.
  • The only way a wanted level will decrease is if you get PKed.
  • If you get a wanted level of 10, your location will show on that board.
  • If you get a wanted level of 15 on either board, you will not be allowed into safe areas.

Why can't I enter a non-PK zone? Why can't I go onto the bank, shrine, or shop?

  • If you have a wanted level of 15 or higher on either board, you will not be allowed into safe areas or safe squares. The only steppable squares a wanted level 15 or higher can step on which are not PK are 19,21 Wilderness and 21,21 Wilderness (The Bounty Boards), and they auto-move you off the board in about a minute.

What is the benefit of having a wanted level of 15 or higher?

  • You get 2% more on the base experience per fight for each wanted level above 14.
  • For example, a wanted level of 19 would give you 10% more experience per fight, calculated off your base experience per fight.

I died, and I have a wanted level over 14. Am I permanently dead? Where can I heal?

  • Go to the shrine in the zone and it will automatically restore you, and kick you off the square.

I killed a wanted level 15 or higher person. Where do I claim my reward?

  • When you kill someone with wanted level 15+, you will receive the message "You have completed a bounty, go check either board!"
  • The two bounty boards are found at 19,21 Wilderness (Constable), and at 21,21 Wilderness (Bounty Hunter). You can claim your reward on either board. Doing so will give you an additional wanted level on the other board.
  • The reward, other than all that unbanked gold, would be 1/2 the experience they lost when you PKed them.

Mastery Questions

More information on masteries can be found here.

I got a message that says "Your ______ mastery increased!" What does that mean?

  • This message means that your mastery in a given weapon type / spell type / armour / doublehit, has increased by 1 point.
  • The message will not specify what class' mastery increased, ie. If you have a cold spell and an arcane spell equipped, the message will state "Your spell mastery increased!", but only one of the two did.

Okay... so what do the percentages/numbers mean?

  • Every 5 Weapon/Spell masteries increases your existing chance to hit with that certain type by 5%, and increases your chance to critically hit with that typeanywhere from 0.5% to 2.5%, less of an increase occurring as your mastery is higher.
  • The higher the armour mastery, the higher your overall armour class is. 5 armour masteries are just as effective as a frozen tear*, which is +1 Armour Class.
  • The higher the doublehit mastery, the higher the chance you will land a doublehit with one spell / weapon.

What's my race's starting masteries?

  • Each race's starting masteries and maximum masteries can be found on the reincarnation page.

I got a weapon mastery from my Spiked Shield. What does it do?

  • If you received a weapon mastery while having Spikied Shields equipped, those masteries would be added to your armour mastery.
  • If you have one Spiked Shield equipped and a shield, then all weapon masteries would be armour masteries.
  • If you only have one Spiked Shield equipped and a weapon, then it would be statistically half of your weapon masteries would be armour masteries, while the other statistical half goes to whatever weapon you have equipped.

How do I "train" my masteries?

  • The key is to hit often, and get hit often. The more you hit (non-one-hit), the better your chance of getting a spell/weapon and doublehit mastery. The more you get hit, the better your chance of getting an armour mastery.
  • Abrakazz Razamatazz created a Mastery Training Guide. You can view it by clicking here.
